一、学生分析。
八年级的学生有一定的语言基础,但学生缺少学习英语的环境,英语基础比较薄,语感比较滞后,学习兴趣也需提高。班级两极分化的现象比较严重,基础好的学生对英语学科很感兴趣,已经具备一定的英语基础,并且有较好的学习英语的习惯,能听懂老师上课中的日常用语,并能灵活运用所学的知识。多数中等学生想学英语但是学习兴趣不浓,且没有养成良好的学习习惯,需要老师的监督才能完成学习任务。少数男同学对英语完全不感兴趣,连最基本的日常用语都听不懂,且不爱学习。所以英语课时注重培养学生学习英语的兴趣是关键。因此,课堂中安排的内容不宜太多,每节课要以让大多数学生能消化当堂课的教学内容为宗旨,要让学生有足够的时间练习和操练所学的知识。力争让“学困生”跟上!
二、教材分析。本课的内容主要讨论的是学生们对日常电视节目的看法,很贴近学生生活实际,寄宿学校的学生,最喜欢回家看电视了。但学生对这些电视节目并不会用英语归类表达。本堂课的词汇就是这些电视节目的名称,talk show, soap opera,sports show,sitcom,game show,talent show, news等。本堂课的重点句型是:What do you think of...?学生识记其同义句为How do you like...?学生要能正确表达自己对电视节目的看法,能正确运用love,like, don't mind, don't like, can't stand表达自己的主观看法。学生会问别人的计划:What do you want to watch?总之这是一堂贴近学生生活实际的听说课。
