    学情分析

          本单元本节课时围绕“传说和神话故事”这个话题,谈论过去发生的事.重点训练学生能够听懂,并且用英语叙述中国民间故事,并能运用一般过去时用英语讲故事.由于一般过去时学生在七年级已经学习了,再加上本课时的内容又都是学生耳熟能详的故事,比较容易激起学生的学习兴趣。八年级学生英语学习有一定基础,学习习惯养成,学习兴趣浓厚。对于农村中学学生来说,学生了解的知识面和阅读面没有城市中学生广泛,学生的成绩呈现出两极分化,对于优秀学生来说,教师要开拓他们的视野和见识;对于潜能生来说,教师要提高他们的信心和兴趣;对于大多数中间层学生来说,教师要让他们能够扎实基础。教师应该采取多种教学方法和教学手段,关注学生的身心发展。本单元本节课时讲述的是愚公移山的故事,通过学习愚公不怕困难,坚持不懈的精神,教育学生学习要持之以恒,刻苦努力。

      T: Today we are going to learn a story, now let's watch a vedio.

      播放《愚公移山》的英语故事视频,导入本单元主题。

      T:What is the name of the story?

      S1:It's YuGong moves a mountain.

      S2:It's a traditional Chinese story.

      S3:It's about an old man named YuGong who tries to move a mountain.

            T:Do you know other traditional Chinese stories?

            S1:Magic Brush MaLiang.

            S2:Chang'e Flies to the Moon.

            S3:Nuwa Repairs the Sky.

            S4:HouYi Shoots the Suns

           教学设计说明:教师通过播放英语故事视频,为课文听力材料做铺垫,引导学生学习如何讲述英语故事及名字。

     

     1.展示故事图片和故事英文名字

     Have students work in pairs with other pictures.

     Have one students read the story titles in 1a,and then ask students to match the titles with the pictures.

     Have students read the sentences in 1b and tell them:You'll listen to a conversation about a story between Anna and Wang Ming.

    Now,listen and check the facts you hear.

    T: You will hear a traditional Chinese story.Listen and see who will tell me the name of the story.

    Play the recording for the students to listen.

    T: Who knows the name of the story may put up your hand.

    S: Yu Gong Moves a mountain.

    T: That's right!Now let's listen again and check the facts you hear.

    _____ A very old man tried to move the mountains.

    _____ A man told Yu Gong that he could never do it.

     Then play the tape and ask students to listen to the tape carefully and check the facts they hear.Check the answers in class.

    2. 学生进行对话练习,学会询问故事的发展的基本句型,并发表简单的观点。

      e.g.  The story reminds me of my childhood.

      a little bit= a little  可以接形容词或副词的比较级,表示“一点儿”

      a bit of + 不可数名词, 表示“一点...”

      e.g. She poured a bit of salt water into her mouth.

      silly “愚蠢的”指由于缺乏常识,判断力或稳健,做出令人可笑的行为和举止。

      instead of 是复合介词,后面接名词,代词,动名词或介词短语。表示“代替;作为...的替换”
