    学情分析

    七年级学生年纪小,天真烂漫,好好引导,可以诱发学习英语的积极性,大大提高英语成绩。再者,本节课内容贴近学生生活,熟悉的人物很多,可以利用学生爱美,喜爱明星的心理,做好PPT,给学生提供更直观的感觉,为课堂的成功开展打下良好的基础。而且,同学们在小学对人物的描述有了简单的了解,为此,做好充分的准备,带动学生进入充满激情,人人参与,舞动青春的课堂。

    教学工具

    录音机,PPT,小黑板,小组竞赛鼓励小红五星,学案。

    教学目标

    Unit 9    What does he look like?

    一.Learning goals:

    1. Vocabularies: curly, straight, tall, medium, height, thin, heavy, of medium height, look like,etc.

    2. a:学会描述人物外貌的句型 .

        --What does he/she look like?    

        --He/She has …+名词and he/she is +形容词. He is of medium height=He isnt tall or short.

        She has short straight hair.

        Is she tall or short?     She is tall.

       b:熟练运用描述外貌的形容词.

    3.能够捕捉重要听力信息,提升听力技能.


    教学重难点

    1. New wordslong straight, short curly, tall, of medium height, short, heavy, thin.

                      He is tall.

    教学过程

    1.新朋友出场,利用ppt,先让学生回顾小学所学的描述人物外貌的简单句型。

    2.利用ppt图片对比进行单词学习:long straight, short curly, tall, of medium height, short, heavy, thin

    3.单词引申:big eyes, small eyes, glasses, long face, round face, big nose, small nose, small mouth, big mouth

    1. 陈述句句型熟悉:根据图片描述明星,巩固练习新句型。

     What does he/she/your father.... look like?

                      He is tall.

    He has short curly hair.

    He has small eyes.

    He has a big mouth.

    He has a long face.

    He doesn't wear glasses.

                      Is it a girl or a boy?

    What does he/she look like?

    Is she/he tall?

    Does he/she have big eyes?

    Does he/she wear glasses?

    4.Pair work小组大PK,每个小组描述一位有特性的小组成员,大家一起猜“Who is she/Who is he?”

    5.疑问句句型熟悉:根据问题描述一位名人,其他同学猜测
