本节课是Section B的阅读理解部分，学生在对A部分交通方式的学习和掌握的基础上，进一步在阅读中学习交通方式的表达，并在语篇中学习运用新单词和短语，同时注重学生阅读策略的培养，包括预测语篇信息和获取具体信息以及对信息加工的策略。我所教学的对象是七年级学生(大部分孩子来自农村），对英语普遍感兴趣，好奇心强，求知欲旺盛，经过一学期的学习,学生已经掌握一定的基础知识，但有很大的不稳定性，对一切新鲜事物抱有好奇，探究的心理。喜欢用眼睛看，耳朵听，动手动脑来找寻和学习文章的重要信息。他们学习英语既感到好奇又担忧，希望能得到他人的肯定。因此我在教学活动中尽量让他们参与到活动中来，有更多的机会来说英语，减少他们的恐惧感，通过学生间的合作学习，在教学过程中及时地给予学生方法指导，降低他们的学习难度，使他们体验到成功的喜悦，提高他们综合运用语言的能力，使各层次的学生都有所收获。

Step I Warming up
Greet the students as uaual.

Step II Lead-in

Today we're going to learn Section B 2a-2c. We can get to school by bus,by car,by bike…or on foot.
It is easy for us to get to school. But for some students in a small village, it is difficult. Let's enjoy a video.
Play the video for students to watch.
After watching the video, ask the students to answer the question.

Step V Activity 2b—Read and answer
Show the following questions on the screen and ask students to go through the questions. Then listen to the recording
and write down the answers. Give them 2 or 3 minutes to finish this activity. They can discuss with their partners.
Then invite some students to answer the questions one by one.Fist let the Ss read the questions together.

4. What is the villagers’ dream?

Step VI Translation Practice — 小小翻译家
Show the key phrases in Chinese on the screen and get students to say them in English . Give them two minutes to finish this. Ask them to pay attention to the words in red. Then invite some students to give their answers. See who can do it most correctly and quickly.
