五年级的学生整体来说比较活泼, 在学习的过程中积累了一定的听说读写的习惯,具有一定的英语基础,有一部分学生具备了用英语进行简单日常交流的能力,思维活跃,能起到积极带头的作用,有一部分学生学习较积极,对学习英语具有浓厚的兴趣。课文中出现的话题贴近生活,学生感兴趣,在教师和各种创设的情境的帮助下,能进行简单的描述。这将为五年级下册的学习进一步学习奠定良好的基础。
本单元学生第一次接触过去时态,主要学习be动词的一般过去式was,were,主语+be动词过去式+地点状语,表示某人过去某时间的去处。因为是首次感知并学习一般过去时的用法,所以学生要理解一般过去时的用法会有难度,尤其感到困难的是动词过去式的构成形式,因此只要求学生在理解课文的基础上,初步学会使用所学单词对过去的事情进行简单的描述,A部分学习有了一些基础,学完之后让学生提前预习D部分,找出过去式,上课之前扫除障碍,真正学习D部分时就顺畅了许多。
