    学情分析

    本课时是七年级下册unit 3的最后一个课时,主要复习及综合运用出行的表达方式,最终以写作的方式呈现。学生经过前面几个课时的积累,大部分学生能熟练的口头表达出行方式,为写作输出打好了一定的基础。

    教学目标:

    1. 语言知识目标:

    1) 复习及综合运用如何表达出行方式。

    2) 能正确运用take...rideby… 来表达自己的出行方式。

    3) 能用所学的方式来描写自己或他人的出行方式。

    2. 情感态度价值观目标:

      了解东西方国家出行方式的不同,教育学生注意交通安全加深对交通知识的了解。

    教学重难点

    1. 教学重点:

    1) 能恰当运用take...rideby… 来表达出行方式。

    2) 练习运用所学的知识来表达某人的出行方式。

    2. 教学难点:

      如何运用所学的知识来正确描写某人的出行方式。

    教学过程

    Greet Ss as usual.

    1. Show a video and ask Ss to watch and remember the transportation they have seen.

    2. Invite Ss to check the transportation they have seen.

    设计意图:

    1、视频可激发学生的学习兴趣,集中注意力,进入学习状态。

    2、通过听、看视频复习所学的交通工具。


    1. Ask Ss to finish self check 1 and check the answers by asking them to devide the phrases into verb phrases and preposition verbs.

    2. Invite some Ss to make sentences with the phrases.

    3. Explain the differences between the verb phrases and preposition verbs.  

    4. Ask Ss to look at the chart about Tony in self check 2, and make conversations in pairs.

    5. Invite Ss to read their answers.

    6. Explain the sentence structures:

      It’s … kilometer(s) from A to B.

      It takes sb some time to do sth.

    设计意图:

    1、通过self-check 1复习相关的单词和短语;通过用短语造句复习句型并区分动词短语和介词短语的用法。

    2、通过结对编对话复习句型It’s … kilometer(s) from A to B.和 It takes sb some time to do sth.

    3、以上的练习为写作提供了写作素材。


    1. Ask Ss to fill in the blanks and check the answers by inviting them to read it together.

    2. Ask the following questions and ask Ss to answer.

      When does Tom leave home?

      How does he get to school?

      How far is it from his home to school?

      How long does it take to get to school?

      What does he think of his bus ride?

     Tell Ss to move away the questions, the rest is the body of the e-mail.

    3. Analyse the structure of the e-mail with the Ss.

    设计意图:

    本环节为写作提供了范文,给学生分析了文章体裁并规定了框架结构。

    1. Show the questions and ask Ss to answer, the answers will be the body of the e-mail.

      When do you leave home?

      How do you get to school?

      How far is it from your home to school?

      How long does it take to get to school?

      What do you think of the trip to school?

    2. Ask Ss to write an e-mail to Tom according to their information and the structures.

    3. Choose one student to share his work on the screen. And give an example of the standards of scores.

    4. Ask Ss to check their work and give scores in pairs.

    5. Choose another one to share.

    设计意图:

    1、先回答问题再写作,让学生有话可写。

    2、选择一篇中等成绩学生的写作作为范文在希沃授课助手中展示,当面批改,并为学生提供评价标准。

    3、同桌互批让学生互相批改互相学习。


     We’ve reviewed some words, phrases and expressions. And we’ve learnt how to write an e-mail. Whatever transportation you choose, remember to Follow the Traffic Rules and Keep Safe!
