    学情分析

    1.五年级的学生通过两年半的英语学习,已经具备了一定的语言学习能力和学习方法,储备了一些语言知识。因此,对于五年级的学生在进行英语教学时,应注重大量的语言输入和输出,充分拓展学生的思维,让学生在情境中学习新知,并在真实的生活情境中应用新知,体现语言的真实性和生活化的特点。

    2.学生在五年级上册已经学习了对人物外貌的描述,本课时将通过外貌描述引出人物性格特点的描述。

    教学目标

    1.知识与技能

    能听懂会说认读会写新单词kind ,friendly, smart, active, serious.能用He/She is…,He/She looks …, He/She loves…向别人简单介自己或他人的性格特点的语言目标

    2.过程与方法

    向别人简单介绍自己或他人的外貌特征,向别人简单介绍自己或他人的性格特征。

    3.情感、态度与价值观

    学习怎么样关爱他人。

    T:Her grandma is old.One day,She was ill.She was weak.So her mother asked the little red riding hood to take some food for you.Let’s watch.播放妈妈让小红帽为外婆送食物的视频。From the video

    T:老师做亲切状,摸一个学生的头说:I’m kind.

    (1)Learn the word:kind  

    kite find ----kind 孩子自己拼读字母“k”,“ind”的音,进而拼出单词kind的音  把“k”又换成“m,h,bl,”拼读mind,hind,blind 最后回到kind

    继续出示一些很亲切的图片Look at the picture,_____ is/looks __________ .板书重点句型

    He is_________.He looks__________.

    继续出示一张男老师对孩子亲切的图片,引导孩子说:He is kind to children.板书He is kind to children.继续问学生:Is Miss Wang kind to you?

    T:老师做严肃状,说:I’m serious.Who can act serious?请几个学生做严肃状

    出示小红帽蹦蹦跳跳的视频What’s she doing?

    T:Yes.She is jumping and skipping.She is active.

    教读active(采用金手指游戏,我出几根手指头,同学就读几遍)

     T:She is active.She looks active.(带动作教读)

    Girls read She is active.She looks active.女孩子带动作跟读

    出示谢娜唱歌,跳舞,做游戏的图片,教师引导说:Xie Na is...So,we can say:

    让一个学生试着说Xie Na is/looks active.

     T:On her grandparents’ home.She met a wolf.播放狼要吃掉他们的视频

    love换成loud,late,friend,学生相继读出“loudly,lately,friendly”老师解释friend的含义。

    Zhu Ruiqi is Tang Yiqing’s friend.They often help each other.T hey are friendly.再出示一些互帮互助的图片,帮助理解friendly的含义。

    T:The hunter helped them to cut the wolf’s stomach with scissors.What do you think of him?

    S:He’s clever.

    T:He’s clever.We can also say He’s smart.

    Learn the word: smart

    T:先出示单词art,自己找出组合“ar” 的音,继续将字母“t”“m”“s”出示,学生自己拼读“art” “mart”“smart”

    老师带读字母组合ar 的音,一起拼读 star  car  bar  hard  smart(this group read them one by one)

    T:You are smart.

    T:出示猎人的PPT 带读He is smart.He looks smart.

    T:出示狄仁杰,诸葛亮的PPT  请学生试着说Di Renjie is smart.Zhu Geliang is smart.He looks smart.
