    教学准备

    学情分析

    本教材以培养学生的交际能力为主线,兼顾语言结构,以培养学生运用语言完成任务目标,教材编写的总思路为:话题--功能--结构--任务。

    本单元主要话题为---野餐。以此讨论野餐需要准备的食物,并进行将来时,及量词的学习。

    教学工具

    六年级的学生,有一定的词汇量储备,已具备学习基本语法知识的能力。三年级,五年级都有学习过食物,为本课的拓展环节打下基础。

    本册的Unit 3, Unit 5都已经学习过一般将来时,学生对此语法点已有了基本的了解,更有助于对本课的理解与学习。

    其中短语a box of在Unit 4有接触,可帮助学生理解本课各量词。

    教学设计

    教学目标

    Language aims:1.Learn new words: picnic, bring,bottle, fruit, bar,peanut,candy, wait, can.

                             2.Learn new sentences: What are we going to bring for the picnic?

                                        I will bring...

                                        The weather is getting cool and nice.

    Skill aims: 1,Be able to understand, say and dub the dialogue of Part A.

                     2,Be able to use the words and sentence patterns :"What are we going to bring for the picnic?I will bring..."

                     3, Be able to make a plan for a picnic . 

    Emotion aims:1, Learn in cooperation and help each other.

                           2, We should save food. And carry out Eat-it-up compaign.

    Learn new phrases: a bottle of...   a box of...   a can of...  a bar of...

    Understand measure words and apply them to practice.

    What are we going to bring for the picnic?

    I will bring  a bottle  of orange juice.

    教学过程

    Greeting to students.

    Sing a song.


             PPT→ What color? →The tree is yellow now. Autumn is coming. The weather is getting cool and nice.

              Review four seasons. Winter is coming. The weather is getting...(Teacher acts and let students say "cold")

              Today I'm so happy. We will have a picnic in the park.

      1 .    →picnic →have a picnic   Read it one by one.

          Ask students to read the phrase together.

          Everybody likes a picnic. Then, what are we going to bring for the picnic?

      2.  Teacher shows a basket for the picnic and say:"I will bring some food."→bring

            Read "bring" one by one.

      3.      Show material objects (an apple,an orange, a banana)

         →Review words(apple, orange, banana...)

         We can also say "fruit".   Game: train,train,go,go,go.

                 Teacher askes:" What are we going to bring for the picnic?

                  Let students read the answer" I will bring some fruit."

      4.    Teacher brushes the corner of the picture and asks students to guess.

                  → peanut (pea + nut)     candy(can+ dy)   ( Student have learnt "nut, can " before.)

                 Litter teachers( Ask students to read after someone)

                 PPT→ some peanuts  /  candies(Copy pictures and compare singular and plural)

                  Teacher asks and let students to answer.

                  I will bring some peanuts  /  candies

      5.      Show material objects( a cake)

                 PPT → a box of cakes(compare a cake and a box of cakes)  

                 Teacher asks:" What are we going to bring for the picnic?

                 PPT → I will bring a box of cakes  .

                  Let students answer:" I will bring a box of cakes ."      

                Ask some groups to answer.

         6.     Take out the picnic basket. There are many food in it. Can you touch and guess? What's in it?

                 Ask someone to touch and guess.

                  → orange juice         We should say:" a bottle of orange juice  " → bottle →a  bottle of

                 Game: Row by row.( Practice "a bottle of")

                Teacher asks and let students to answer.

                 I will bring  a bottle of orange juice.

                 Ask somegroup to answer.

         7    Ask the other to touch and guess.

                 →Coke    We should say:"a can of Coke".

                 Game: Group by group.

                 Teacher asks and let students to answer.

                  I will bring a can of Coke.

                 Ask someone to answer.

         8.     Ask the other to touch and guess.→     a chocolate      

                PPT → a bar of chocolate

                Game: Row by row.

               Teacher asks and let students to answer.

                I will bring a bar of chocolate. 

       

    1.Magic eyes.

    Show news words(a bottle of orange juice, a can of Coke, a bar of chocolate, a box of cakes, candy, peanut...)

    Ask students to say the missing words.

    2. Show pictures and ask "What are we going to bring for the picnic?

       Students answer.

       How to ask?  → What are we going to bring for the picnic?

        Ask students to read after teacher.

       Group1, 2 ask, Group 3,4 answer.

    3.Learn Part A.

    1) Listen and match.

    2) Listen, watch and check answers.

    3) Answer questions and solve puzzles(eg: getting, a few, big, at the park at 9:00am)

        Autumn is coming. The weather is getting cool and nice.

        Winter is coming. What will be the weather like?

       → The weather is getting cold.( Teacher acts)

    4) Read by themselves.

    4. Read the text in 3 minites.

        Read together.

        Role-play.

    5. Tomorrow is Anne's birthday. Let's have a party.What are you going to bring for the party?

       Talk in groups.

        Have a show.

    6. Lucky game

    You did a good job. Let’s have a lucky game.

    Ask someone to choose and brush. (Someone can get chocolate or orange juice; Someone needs to answer the questiongs.)

    7. We should save food. And carry out Eat-it-up campaign.

    1.Listen to and read Part A.

    2.Prepare Part C, Part D。

    3. Have a picnic on weekend.
