本课选自沪教版六年级下册Module 3 Unit 9 Reusing things,为本单元的第二课时。六年级的学生经过三年的英语学习,已经有了一定的语言基础。大部分孩子对继续学习英语有兴趣,在学习中乐于参与、积极合作,也初步形成了对英语的感知能力和良好的学习习惯,但也有小部分学生处于两级分化的另一端,学习上不会积极主动去表达自己,对此,小组合作的形式对他们会有一定帮助。
本单元的话题为环境保护,本课的学习侧重点在于通过了解废物利用(reusing)的过程,设置小组活动任务,培养孩子们的动手及合作能力,让学生们在真实的生活情境中灵活进行知识运用,并在实际运用中体会和领悟单词can的不同表意功能。
