本文选自译林牛津新教材Unit 2 Extended reading,Mama and Her Bank Account。本文作者是美国著名作家凯瑟琳·福布斯。作者根据家族经历,从孩子的视角叙述了17个温馨感人的小故事,这些小故事共同构成了上世纪从挪威移民至美国的一家人的生活全景。本文为这17个故事的第一个小故事——妈妈和她的银行账户。

考虑到文本篇幅较长,且教学对象为高一新生,本节课设计为阅读教学第二课时,第一课时让学生自主阅读文本,列出自己想要了解的问题并解决生词。本堂课授课对象为益阳市第十三中学高一学生,共30人。学生整体基础和语言能力属于中等,课堂专注力高,能够在确切指令下完成相应任务。在课前深入了解他们的储蓄习惯,大部分的学生没有储蓄的习惯。大部分学生拥有自己的银行账户,银行账户内的钱主要用来网上转帐付学费,平时的网上购物等。另外学生不了解自己家庭的银行账户的情况。而且作为高一新生,缺少原版阅读的经验,并且由于认知水平的语言表达能力的限制,她们在篇章深层次内容的理解方面还需要继续锤炼,因此在授课过程中教师要充分利用活动打开学生思维活跃度,积极调动参与性。在课上教师要精炼自己的语言,有意识的进行输入,利用文本拉近与作者之间的陌生感,从而能够在课堂结束后,让故事文本与读者产生联结。在文化意识层面,明白父母对自己的关爱之心,并能够有意识地发展自身的同理心。开始在现实生活中做出积极的改变。
