本单元的话题为数字,主要掌握1-10的序数词,并围绕这个话题开展各项活动。课文通过描述Sports Day和English Party,学生在学习序数词的同时,还了解在讲述过去发生的事情的时候,动词也应该用过去式,本单元是学生初次接触动词的不规则变化,他们的主要目的是在理解课文的基础上,学会使用序数词及使用所学单词对过去的事情进行简单的描述。因此,本课的重难点就是基数词和序数词的转换。
本节课属于词汇教学。五年级的学生通过两年的英语学习,已经有了一定的语音基础和单词拼读能力。因此,他们对英语的词汇学习有着较浓厚的学习兴趣。但也有少数学生由于学习能力和学习习惯的问题,在英语词汇学习上还是遇到困难,尤其是识记单词方面导致学习兴趣会随之减弱。所教班级内的学生分化有些大,优秀的学生有兴致的学习,上课认真听讲,下课认真完成作业,而中下层的学生随着课本的难度加大,产生了一些厌学的情绪。尤其从这学期开始,英语的学习进入高年级阶段,对学生又提出了新的要求:加强读、写的技能的训练。所以教师应该面向全体学生,以学生的发展为宗旨,始终把激发学生的学习兴趣放在首位,引导学生端正学习态度,掌握良好的学习方法,培养学生良好的听、说、读、记、默的学习习惯。
在上课前,我使用了英语宝给同学们布置预习作业,先听读Unit11的A/B/C部分,训练学生的听力,培养学生预习新课的好习惯,使学生大致地了解了下一节课要讲的内容,同时为了培养学生对英语的兴趣,培养学生阅读的能力,我还另外布置了三个有关基数词的绘本,通过绘本激发学生兴趣,希望学生读懂绘本,理解意思,学会正确表达与数字有关的英语单词。但是从完成情况看,由于学生有多个账号注册并登入,所以统计的不是很准确,但还是发现有一部分学生惰性较强,需要老师多多提点,但是只有8人达到满分,中等成绩的学生偏多,这样的情况是因为大部分学生对绘本的理解还不够,以后还要加强学生英语阅读能力、综合运用能力和灵活运用知识的能力,继续强化学生的英语核心素养能力。
(一)语言目标
1、词汇:能听懂、会说、认读新单词metre,race,sports,first,sencond,third,last.
2、句型:能用“Who was first?""...was first."描述顺序;能用新学的单词对过去发生的事情做简单的描述。
(二)应用目标
1、能用序数词描述顺序,能对特定的场合正确运用序数词。
2、能区分was/were的区别。
