    学情分析


    本单元的主题语境是人与社会,话题是友谊。Reading板块的语篇是一篇发布在网络平台上的论坛交流贴及两篇回复帖回帖,针对楼主遭遇到的友谊危机”,两位热心网友给出了不同的建议与理由。语篇旨在引导学生树立正确的交友观,学会处理人际交往中出现的问题。本节课为学生完成阅读任务后的语言知识点的学习理解、运用实践和迁移创新。


    教学工具


    教学对象为高一年级学生,学生在听说读写方面都有一定的基础,但是基础一般,所以本堂课的设计难度适中,符合学情。本模块话题为友谊,贴近生活,学生比较容易理解。该节课重点是让学生学习课本中的部分词汇,完成老师创设的一个完整语境中,为学生最后的写作充分打好了脚手架。内容基于学生的生活实践和英语基础,学生应该有话想说,有话可说。

    教学目标

    By the end of the lesson, students will be able to:

    1. understand the usage of some commonly used adjectives, verbs, phrases sentence patterns and contrastive linking words: awkward, original, horrible, frank,respond, apologize, ignore, suffer, trick,on the rocks, hang out, respond to, pick up the pieces, at a loss, let go of, in the wrong, How+adj.+s.+v., so......that......,but, however, instead of.

    2. apply the above expressions to finish the teachers story.

    3. use the above words and expressions to describe an unhappy experience between students and their friends.

    4. learn to value friendship

    Step 1 Leading in

    1. T introduces her unhappy experience of friendship by using some expressions from the text.

          To be frank, Im a little bit sad because my best friend tricked me. Im heart-broken and I 'm still picking up the pieces. How unfortunate I am.

    2. T tells students the objectives of this lesson.

         Last Friday was Tina's birthday. My original plan was to give her a big surprise by buying a special gift. However, I received a horrible surprise when I arrived at her house. I heard she was speaking ill of me. Immediately, I felt so angry and awkward that I ran away. Frankly speaking, I never thought that she would do such a thing. The awkwardness made us distant.

         Our friendship is on the rocks! Later, she sent some online messages to make an apology to me. Instead of responding to her, I ignored them because I hated being tricked. To be frank, I value our friendship very much. The suffering, however, makes it difficult for me to judge our friendship.                                

    Looking back on the days when we hung out together, I cannot help crying. How happy we were! But now, I am at a loss. I don't know what I should do. I don't know whether this friendship is worth saving or I just let go of it.
