    学情分析

    本话题主要围绕康康的生日聚会展开,从而学习情态动词can的用法以及选择疑问句

    教学工具

    学生基础比较好,但是不太爱开口,但是也有三个同学落后很多,根本不能开口。

    教学设计

    1. 学习有关can 的用法

    2. 初步了解选择疑问句

    3. 培养学生的听、说、读、写能力

    教学重难点

    1. can 在肯定句、否定句、疑问句的用法


    教学方法

    Can you sing an English song

    --- Yes ,I can .                     --- No, I can't.

    What can you do?

    --- I can sing Chinese songs, but I can't sing English songs.

    教学过程

    Warm up by playing cuckoo game.

    Show pictures to teach the new words.

    1) Teach the new sentences: Can you sing English songs?   And help the Ss. to answer it:Yes, I can.   No, I can't. then teach the conversations and read them.

    2)Practice the new sentences and help the Ss. to say : I can ... I can't...

    3)The T. ask a student: I can ... I can't ... What can you do?

     Teach the new sentences: What can you do?   And help the Ss. to answer it.

    4) Play the Dragon Game to practice the new sentences. One S. says ,"I can do ... what can you do?" the next S. says,"I can do ... what can you do ?"  Let the Ss. do like this one by one in teams, and the team is the winner who finish it the most quickly.

    5) Listen to 1a and match Jane and Maria with what they can do at Kangkang's birthday party, then check the answers.

    6) Key points : Do you want to sing Chinese songs or English songs? 

                               ---- 1. 选项A    2. 选项B  3. Both / Either / Neither.

    7) Read 1a after the MP3.


    1) Work in pairs and practice 1a. Then make up a new conversation with your partner(Ss. can make sentences by using the knowledge the have learned before.).

    2) Listen to the conversation on P4 and mark T or F, then ask Ss. to say the correct answers.

    3) Fill in the blanks with the correct forms.

    4) Watch a video,and let Ss. answer the following questions.

    Let Ss. summarize the new words, phrases,sentences.

    Let  the Ss. to say a sentence to one person by using "I can ... I'd like to ... for sb."  ( Xiwo screen)

    Ask five Ss. what they can do, then write a composition about what we can do and what we can't do.
