    学情分析

    本课为第六单元第一节课,属于听说课.

    本课的重点为1.食品单词:hamburger,tomato,orange,ice-cream,salad,banana,strawberry,pear,milk,bread

                         2.常见单词的单复数。

                        3.句型:Do you like bananas? —— Yes, I do./ No, I don't.

    教学工具

    本单元主题为食物,学生比较有兴趣。总体来说,学生食物的单词都会读,但是拼写上有问题。学生对名词复数以及三单有一定的了解,但是在口语输出和做题中常常会犯错误,需要在教学过程中不断巩固名词复数和动词三单。

    教学设计

    教学目标

    Teaching aims and language points:

    1. Learn these words and be able to say, read and write these words:

    orange(s), banana(s), strawberry, strawberries, pear(s), apple(s), tomato(es), carrot(s), vegetable(s), hamburger(s),  ice-cream(s), salad(s), bread, 

    2. Be able to talk about likes and dislikes by using:

    Do you like strawberries? Yes, I do./ No, I don't.

    I like hamburgers. He/She likes hamburgers.

    3. Perceive the Countable nouns and Uncountable Nouns. 

    4. Be aware of healthy habits and unhealthy habits

    1.Warming up  (课堂热身)  

    Teacher: Do you like party food?

    Ss: Yes.

    T: Miss Zhou is going to hold a birthday party. Can you find some party food for Miss Zhou?

    2. Presentation (呈现新知识)  

     (1) Presenting the new words one by one:

    T: What's this in English? (showing an/a apple and the phonetic symbol of the word.)

    S: It's an apple.

    Present the other five words like the sample sentences above:orange, pear, strawberry, banana,grape

    T: What’s this in English? (showing  a picture of salad and  the phonetic symbol of the word.)

    S: It’s salad.

       (Present the other two words like the sample sentences above: milk and bread)

        T: We can call all of these things healthy foods.

     3. Practise

    (1)You Draw, I guess.

      One student comes to the blackboard and draws the fruit he sees. All the other students guess and say the name of the fruit.

    (2) Ask and answer.

    eg:

         What are they?   They’re ________.

        Do you like?    Yes, I do./ No, I don’t,

    Invite 3 pairs of students to practice the dialogue.


    4.T: Can you find more party foods?

       bread, hamburger, tomato, French fries.

    Present the words "milk""bread""hamburger""ice-cream""salad"tomato" and then read it one by one , group by group.

    Match the words with the pictures.

    Ask and answer:

    eg:

         What are these?   —They’re ________.

        Do you like…?    —Yes, I do./ No, I don't.

    Use the sentences to practice the words: hamburgers, ice-creams, salads, tomatoes.

    5.Practice:

    (1) Pair work: Two students talk about foods below with sample sentences.

    eg: Do you like …?    — Yes. I do./ No, I don't.

    (2)Exercise: Make your choice.

     The answer: C(bread) B(milk)

    Ss learn about two uncountable nouns.

     (3) Game: Who has the best eyes?

    Present pictures of foods one by one. Students stand up and say the name when they see the food. The quickest wins one point.

    The answer:grape, apple, tomato, banana, strawberry,pear, hamburger, salad, ice-cream,milk.

    (4)Game: 森林运动会:correct the mistakes of following sentences.

    1. "hamburger"和"salad"有相同的元音音素/æ/。

    2. "tomato"的复数形式是"tomatos"。( the correct answer: tomatoes)

    3. "strawberry"的复数形式是"strawberrys"。( the correct answer: strawberries)

    4. "milk"和"bread"没有复数形式。

    5. It is a ice-cream.( the correct answer: an ice-cream)

    6. Do you like breads?( the correct answer: bread)

    7. A: Do you like apples?

        B: Yes, I like.( the correct answer: Yes, I do.)

    (5)Finish 1a

    (6) Listening and blank-filling.

      The answer: bananas/ Yes, I do./salad/ No, I don't./ oranges/Yes, I do.

    1. A student makes a phone call to Miss Zhou to recommend the foods & ask whether Miss Zhou likes it or not by using the following structure.

    S: Good afternoon, Miss Zhou!

    T:

    S: We find some yummy food for you. They are ……. Do you like them?

    T:

    S:You're welcome.

    T:

    S:Yes, I'd like to.

    T:

    S: See you, bye!

    2.Work in groups of three. Go and buy some food for Miss Zhou. One acts as a shop assistant(SA). One acts as a shopper(S) and one acts as Miss Zhou(Z). 

    Here are the sample conversations:

    SA: Excuse me! Can I help you?

    S: Yes. What are these?

    SA: They're ... Do you like them?

    S: Yes, I do. / No, I don't.


    S: Good afternoon, Miss Zhou.

    Z: Good afternoon, ...

    S: Happy birthday! Here are some nice food for you. Do you like ...?

    Z: Yes, I do. 

    S: Here you are.

    Z: Thank you.

    S: You're welcome.


    Show the topic: What foods should we have?

                              What are healthy foods?

                              What are unhealthy foods?

     T:Can you summarize what we have learned today?

              Read the following contents together.

              1. New words:

              hamburger,tomato,orange,ice-cream,salad,banana,strawberry,pear,milk,bread

              2. Sentences:

              Do you like…?    —Yes, I do./ No, I don't,


    Ask what your parents like, and then write it down.
