    学情分析

    SectionA 3a it mainly focuses on reading.3a and 3b are designed around the text content and language respectively.3c requires students to perform the story by using language structure after mastering the activity content.Reading the text is a story about looking for happiness,which continues to the listening part of section B.Language learning still focuses on the perception and application of the the influence of thngs on people.And the corresponding emotional expression ,the textbook also arranged a lot of listening,speaking,reading and writing tasks.I will flexibly use these activities to change or integrate some of them.

    教学工具

    Through the listening and speaking learning of section A 1a-2c,students can activate the important words of expressing emotion and the related language of expressing feelings.The relevant vocabulary and language structure are output in the training of 2c.They have basically mastered the basic structure of the causative verb "make "to express emotion.In the friendship activities of 2d,the studentscomprehensive ability to use language is improved,which lays a foundation for learning the discourse of 3a.3a is a fable about happiness.There are many roles in the text.which will be of great interest to students.The language stucture is the continuation of 1a-2d,and the teaching difficult will be reduced.

    教学目标

    Teaching aims:

    1)Master the new words 、phrases and sentences of this class,students can talk about  how things affect them by using the structure of “make +sb+adjective”or “make +sb+infinitive”. 

    2)Practice students'  listening and reading skills, and  let  them understand the importance of group-work.

    3)Let students understand the true meaning of happiness,and develop the correct outlook on life.

    教学过程

    Step1:Lead-in

    1.The teacher plays a song named If you are happy ,then asks students if they are happy.

    2.After listening ,the teacher show the story about an unhappy king.

    Step2:Presentation

    1. New words

    The teacher tells students the short story and  teach them the new words. and help  them pronounce well.

       2.Reading

    (1)Fast reading 

    Let students read the passage quickly ,then answer the question  below.

    Did they make the king happy?

    (2)Careful reading

    Task 1 Read the paragraph 1-2  carefully and answer the question below.

    1)Can medicine help the king?Why or why not?

    Task 2 Read the paragraph 3 carefully and answer the question .

    2)Why does power not make the prime minister happy?

    Task 3 Read the paragraph 4

    3)Why does money not make the banker happy?

    Task 4 Read the paragraph 5

    4)Why does fame not make the singer happy?

    Task 5 Read the paragraph 6

    Finally, the king's _________  _________ was told to go out and ___________ a happy man in ________ __________ time.

     Ask students answer these questions ,and correct the mistakes.

    Step 5 Consilidation and extention

    1)Divide students into some 3groups to act the story.

    2)Give them enough time to do this task.As they work,move around the classroom to check the progress.

    3)Finally, invite one group to act it for the whole class.Others evaluate them.

    Step 5 Homework

     Imagine you are writer of  the story .Write the ending of the story."What do you think will happen next ?‘’
