我们湘西地区的孩子学习英语比较滞后,整个社会环境对英语的学习不够重视,英语学习氛围不浓,学习词汇量少,口语表达能力欠缺。针对所存在的情况,老师可以在课堂上多设置一些有趣的活动或者游戏提高学生的兴趣,吸引学生的注意力。其次词语句子的教授需要由浅入深,引导学生回忆自己掌握的词汇来表达清楚自己的意思。最后因为学生们普遍比较胆小,引导他们敢于表现,多给予他们鼓励很重要。课堂内容方面,学生们掌握的关于职业的词汇可能比较少,可以提前叫学生们利用网络搜寻一些有用的词汇,也可以引导学生们去总结规律,举一反三。如:teach-teacher,work-worker等。
