本次授课的班级是浏阳市第一中学高一年级2115班全体学生。学生才进入高中阶段不久，还处于从初中向高中转型阶段，正逐步适应高中的学习节奏和学习方法。2115班女生31人，男生22人，他们对英语课堂有较高的热情，积极活跃，积极举手回答问题。他们也喜欢英语，意识到了英语学习的重要性。学生的英语基础较好，文本内容的解读任务对于他们来说难度不大。且学生有着较强的合作精神和探究精神，他们擅长于小组合作，面对新的学习内容时能够通过合作学习的方式探究内容。
