本单元以“学校旅行”为主题,以同学之间谈论各自的游览经历为背景,展开多种形式的语言训练活动,目的是让学生逐步学会运用一般过去时态叙述和询问过去的活动经历。学生第一次接触一般过去式,会觉得有难度。可以利用希沃白板设置丰富的课堂活动,掌握形容词、一般过去时的用法。
本课时为Section B部分的阅读教学,先让学生熟悉一些描述性的形容词,分辨它们带有褒义还是贬义,然后让学生阅读两篇关于学校旅行的日记,找出日记中的描述性形容词,并通过对比来总结两位作者关于同一旅行经历的不同态度,不仅考察学生对篇章的理解和培养阅读策略,还训练学生对比分析能力和多维度思考能力。
通过快一年与同学们的相处,我班同学大部分养成了较好的学习习惯,也具备了一定的阅读技巧,对于阅读课的学习有较大的积极性。但由于学生掌握英语的程度不一,阅读课对于后进生来说还是有较大的难度,尤其是11单元这篇阅读课文涉及到的时态是一般过去时,是学生新接触的知识,有部分同学难免会觉得畏难。同时,学生在情感态度,学习策略和文化意识方面还存在诸多问题。有些同学对于学好英语缺乏自信;缺乏小组合作意识;不注意知识的积累等。尽管如此,本班上课比较活跃,积极发言。针对这种情况,本节课也采取了一系列措施,通过课堂与信息技术的融合,提高学生的学习兴趣和综合素养。
