Teaching steps:
Step1: Lead-in
The teacher divide students into two groups: Group Blue and Group Red. Then the teacher shows students the apple song video and sing the song with the students.
T: The song is about apple. It is a kind of fruit. Do you want to learn more about fruit?
S: Yes.
T: Are you ready?
S: Go.
T: Let’s go.
Step 2: Review the words
a: The teacher shows some fruit paintings to the students, and helps them to review the fruit words.
b: Play fruit painting game. Students speak the English as soon as they see the picture. Then the teacher cut the fruit.
c: The teacher shows students more pictures. Students learn to use English to describe the single form and plural form of the fruit words.
d: The teacher picks up some fruit through the bag and show them to students. Then students describe them in English.
Step 3: Important sentences.
The teacher asks students to suppose they are in a fruit shop and they are going to buy some fruits. Then the teacher lead students to learn the key sentences of this situation.

Step 4: While-reading

d: The teacher leads all the students to read the conversation again and again.
Step5. Role-play
The teacher shows a video about the two students’ conversation. Then the teacher asks students to make a similar conversation with their partners and act it.

Step 6. Chant.
