    According to Professor Vyv Evans at Bangor Universityemojis are the UK’ s fastest-growing languagedeveloping faster than any language in history. These images(图案)first appeared in Japanese mobile phones in the 1990s and are now hugely popular.

    Why do we love them so much?

    We really seem to “big red heart” emojisBut why? They let us personalize(个性化)our texts and have fun as we express(表达)ourselves and make people laugh.UK teenagers told us that they appreciate(领会到)the fact that emojis are quick and easy to use.
